I had 46 mafia members on my account for Mafia Wars one day and now 27 are gone. Can anybody help me?

This is because there was a temporary bug with the “hired guns”, or mafia members that are given by using reward points. This should be fixed now.
If you still want to easily gain more mafia members, try a site like to join up with other players.
