The FIGHT system basically works on the Mafia size difference, and a little on the attack and defence.
but i believe it comes more town to a dice roll. you get 0-35, he gets 0-what ever he has. you just got a bad case, 3 times….
but that doesnt mean if you have 500 members you wont ever be taken out by a 1 [unlikely but it happens, watch a James bond movie lol]

I’ve attacked people who have 0 in their mafia and still lose [10 in mafia] sometimes.

and saving 400k at the cost of 40k is much better than leaving it out to be jumped again.
I also think if ur on the marked men that mafia size doesnt matter.
